News and Events
News: It was announced this week that the Northwest YMCA in Shoreview will be closing the racquetball courts within the next few months. This action was a decision made in secrecy, by the executive leadership without any input from members or players. The courts will be remodeled and used for more fitness equipment. This comes as a shock to most players that have supported the sport and the tournaments in the past years. The best maintained courts in the metro and will now fall victim to whining treadmills and the wrecking ball.
